Business card & letterhead work

Here are what I have so far as designs for business cards. The letterhead I have kept as simple as possible, so it works large and small, and the business cards, there are 2 designs, all in different colours, i may print one design in 4 colours, but see which design is preferred. Feedback is welcome.

  1. Not to be rude, but you did state you are open for feedback, so please dont take this as critism.

Why have you highlighted/changed the color of the letters K,O,T,L? Are you trying to spell out something? A good rule to keep in mind is that if you arnt planing on spelling out something or make a point then dont change the color of random letters in names or texts. If you want to change the color of some of the letters the more natural choice would be N and H. As these are the letters in your personal logo. Just a thought. If you plan on using 4 different colors there needs to be a reason for it, and from the looks of your design there doesn't seem to be any significant reason as to why you actually need 4 different colors on your business cards.

Also, in your letterhead I assume you have worked with a grid and its just by mistake the spacing for the text is smaller than the spacing for the top where your logo is. These should be aligned and have equally the same amount of spacing infront of them. Also I would recommend considering making the border line the same stroke size as either your logo (ie, make the line as thick as the line used in N or H).

  2. hey its cool, i wouldnt put it up if i didnt want criticism, lol. I was just messing around with the text, and i selected letters same as in "graphic designer", and changed the ones left over to a different colour, but yeah i was considering changin them coz those letters you said, stand out too much, so i am going to change it to just all the same colour, except the "n" and "h", as that is my letter head.

The letterhead, the text spacing, cheers for telling me because i finished this late last night at 2am, and it was the last thing i did, so cheers for telling me because now i am going to change that. cheers x
